It's a part of life - our skin changes as we age. It becomes thinner, loses fat, and no longer looks as plump and smooth as it once did. Facial aging actually begins in your 20s, when skin firmness begins to decrease as a result of both internal (genetics and natural aging) and external (sun exposure, smoking, stress, etc.) factors.
Dermal fillers are used most commonly in these areas:
Fillers we offer:
How do I know which dermal filler is right for me?
Each filler has slightly different properties and advantages. Juvederm Voluma is an injectable hyaluronic acid gel indicated deep (subcutaneous and/ or supraperiosteal) injecting for cheek augmentation to correct age-related volume deficit in the mid-face in adults over the age of 21. Voluma lasts up to two years.
The other dermal fillers listed are all also composed of hyaluronic acid gel. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar found in the human body; its role is to deliver nutrients and to hydrate the skin by holding in water and to act as a cushioning agent. These fillers last from 9 months to one year.
Your provider will discuss with you the benefits of each and determine with you which product will work best for your face.
